When previewing Solid Works files in the Enterprise PDM vault, the files can either be shown as a static Bitmap view, or as a dynamic 3D e Drawings view. e Drawings may have been installed by either Solid Works or by the Enterprise PDM Installation Manager.However if the e Drawings preview is not working, but the e Drawings software is installed and launches via the start menu, then most likely the connector between e Drawings and Enterprise PDM needs to be re-registered. If it is installed by EPDM it will normally be located in the folder c:\program files (x86)\common files\edrawingsxxx, if it is installed by Solid Works the program will normally be located in c:\program files\solidworks corp\edrawingsxxx.
